We begin our tour traveling south on Austral Freeway towards Puerto Tranquilo. From Coyhaique the road takes us thru scenery that demonstrates the effects of fire on the edge of the community before contrasting that with the pristine landscape as we enter the Natural Cerro Castillo (Castle Hill) Reserve; one of the last refuges of the Huemul, (a deer) in danger of extinction, which can often be seen on the side of the road.

Traveling 90km on paved road and with the Castel Hill Reserve behind us and taking 4 hours on the Ripio Road with marvelous views we arrive on the coast of Lake General Carrera O Chelenco on tranquil Puerto Rio where we will take a boat to Capillas de Marmol (marble chapels) ecological formations caused by water on rock.

Price per person is $417,000 minimum of two people.
